Shrimp and Pasta Salad

"This is a healthy salad that can be used for dinner or to take along to a pot luck. Pasta and shrimp, with yummy vegetables in a lemony spicy dressing. Very easy to make. Note: Chill time is not included in cook time."

 1. This was really tasty and made a nice lunch for me to bring to work last week! I used whole wheat pasta shells, sour cream instead of yogurt, and sliced scallions instead of onion. I also was a little more generous with the Old Bay seasoning. I will definitely be making this again. Thanks for posting this. Made for Every Day is a Holiday Tag Game.

 2. This was very good! I cut it down to 2 servings but still had enough for 3-4. I made a few slight changes - left out the peas and used sour cream instead of yogurt. Also used green onion not regular onion and used a 4 oz can of baby shrimp instead of the frozen (and did not cook them since they were already cooked). This was a very refreshing lunch salad. Thanks for the recipe!

 3. I made 1/2 the amount. This was not bad but we didn`t go crazy over it. It could have used more old bay. Good luck in the contest.

 4. This is a very nice, fresh tasting salad. I will adjust the seasonings a bit next time to suit my family's tastes but that is the only thing I'd change. Made for Craze-E Contest.

 5. This was my hands-down favourite recipe in the Craze-E Salad contest! I had to use macaroni instead of the seashells, which would have looked better. I used green onion because the kind wasn't specified. I didn't cook the shrimp because they were already cooked and I didn't want them going rubbery. I also didn't rinse the pasta because the starch helps the dressing to stick. The dressing was excellent! I loved the kick of the Old Bay - delish!

First, I'd like thank everyone who reviews my recipes. I can't thank each of you personally although I try.

I Live in central Virginia, 5 miles from where I grew up, w/ my Husband of 17 years and my beautiful daughter. She is 10 and is the joy of my life. We waited for a long time to be blessed with a child and it is the best thing I've ever done. Be a mother.

I love to cook. We eat very healthy, after a life altering experience at 31 I've been on a journey to be healthy and lose weight. I've lost 50 lbs and have kept most all of it off for the last 9 years. There are always fluxs, durring stressful times, but I've mananged to keep most of the weight off. My best advice to anyone trying to lose weight is to remember that it didn't get there overnight and it won't come off overnight.
