After making this up I did a wee taste test as I'm not at all familiar with this blend but I love all of the ingredients so knew that it would be well liked. I have to say that for us it was far to salt heavy. I added another Tbsp of everything other than salt and it was greatly improved. I used it that night on sirloin tip steak for dinner and it was delicious. The next morning I added some to scrambled eggs and that too was a winner. :D

Used this in a picadillo recipe calling for sazon, and it's bubbling away and reducing for dinner as we speak. To my smell and taste, this is really similar to taco seasoning, but there are some nuance differences. They might be more pronounced had I not had to sub the paprika as suggested in the instructions, but I don't know. I've never had the pre-packaged seasoning, but I think this is really good. I'll probably just stick with this to avoid the pre-packaged and to control my sodium. Thanks for sharing.
