Red Pizza Sauce

"I have many homemade pizza sauces and this is a favorite. So quick and tasty. "

ingredients

• 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can Italian stewed tomatoes
• 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
• 1 teaspoon sugar
• 1 teaspoon dried oregano
• 1 teaspoon dried basil
• 1⁄2 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
• 1⁄4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

directions

1. Combine all ingredients into a small food processor and blend. You could easily just use a potato masher to combine it all together.
2. Spread it onto your pizza dough. Top with your favorite toppings, some mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
3. Bake your pizza at 475 degrees for about 15 minutes. Or bake 400 degrees for 22 minutes. Depending on type of dough used.
