- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can Italian stewed tomatoes
- 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1⁄2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
directions
- Combine all ingredients into a small food processor and blend. You could easily just use a potato masher to combine it all together.
- Spread it onto your pizza dough. Top with your favorite toppings, some mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake your pizza at 475 degrees for about 15 minutes. Or bake 400 degrees for 22 minutes. Depending on type of dough used.
