  • Mash the currants through a colander.
  • Put the juice in a pan and add two cups water, cinnamon stick, lemon juice and heat.
  • Add arrowroot to one tbsp water and blend until smooth. Add to pan.
  • Heat until boiling, stirring constantly.
  • Serve.
