  • 1 (18 ounce) package yellow cake mix
  • 12 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 14 cup water
  • 1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin
  • 12 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 34 cup sugar
  • 12 cup chopped nuts (optional)

directions

  • Mix batter using ingredients in the order given.
  • Beat for 3 minutes.
  • Pour into greased tube pan.
  • Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.

  1. Why would you need to add 3/4 cup sugar to the mix? Isn't there enough sugar in the cake mix?
