I am the oldest of three girls.. I was always my dads boy he never had. I have been married for 30 years.. My husband and I are both retired. We have a beautiful log home on lake front property...The winters can be very cold in the interior of British Columbia, at which time I enjoy my computer for endless hours... The good weather will find me outside for hours.. Always looking for new ways to make improvements to the gardens and yard.I enjoy looking for new landscaping ideas and my husband is a great help with any heavy work involved. We are both animal lovers and have 2 spoiled cats, one of which was rescued from the SPCA at the age of 6...
My husband is a die hard Nascar fan. We won an all expense paid trip to Pheonix in 1995, so he got to see a race live. Too many people for me, think I`ll stick to watching it on TV.
We were fortunate to have been able to travel to Australia two years in a row.. 2003, we were in NSW (Coffs Harbour & south) for 3 weeks in March... 2004 we were there again for 6 weeks in mid September and all of October..It was awesome to see the beautiful birds and flowers, kangaroos, and pelicans. This all became possible because of an internet friend on MSN Messenger. I used to do many hours of crochet, but it seems to have taken a back seat to gardening and computing..
UPDATE : Our life became a turmoil! August 6 2007 a day after our 29th anniversary, my husband was involved in a very serious motor cycle accident. He had a collapsed lung, shattered pelvis, shattered tail bone, and numerous abrasions. He was medavacced to Vancouver General Hospital. He underwent 13 hours of surgery on August 13th, his 70th birthday. He also had his spleen removed. From that day on he waged a courageous battle to survive. suffering many infections. We were separated from each other until he was cleared to come home on February 1st.We had never until this time ever been separated. It is almost a year now since he arrived home, and he has and still is improving in leaps and bounds. He probably will never walk unassisted again. I now have acquired all the jobs that he used to do.It has and still is very frustrating at times, but we are once again happy and healthy. <embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" src="http://w120.photobucket.com/pbwidget.swf?pbwurl=http://w120.photobucket.com/albums/o183/katzmh/1166212670.pbw" height="240" width="360"></embed><a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://pic.photobucket.com/getyourown.gif" style="border-width: 0;" vspace="1"></a>.....<embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" src="http://w120.photobucket.com/pbwidget.swf?pbwurl=http://w120.photobucket.com/albums/o183/katzmh/1166289194.pbw" height="360" width="480"></embed><a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://pic.photobucket.com/getyourown.gif" style="border-width: 0;" vspace="1"></a>.....<embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" src="http://w120.photobucket.com/pbwidget.swf?pbwurl=http://w120.photobucket.com/albums/o183/katzmh/1168561288.pbw" height="360" width="480"></embed><a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://pic.photobucket.com/getyourown.gif" style="border-width: 0;" vspace="1"></a>embed<embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" src="http://w120.photobucket.com/pbwidget.swf?pbwurl=http://w120.photobucket.com/albums/o183/katzmh/1166218697.pbw" height="300" width="300"></embed><a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://pic.photobucket.com/getyourown.gif" style="border-width: 0;" vspace="1"></a>embed
