  • Marinate pork in next four ingredients for 30 minutes.
  • Flash fry pork in 1 Tbsp Olive oil.
  • Pile on pita bread with tomatoes and onions Serve with plenty of tzatziki sauce.
  • Sauce: Mix and refrigerate overnight.

  1. I am SO happy to find this recipe on here! Thank you, thank you for posting. I came across this recipe in Penzey's a few years ago and it is so totally delicious! Of course, I use Penzey's Greek Seasoning and it is wonderful. The tzatziki sauce is addictive and if you have extra serve it as a salad dressing or veggie/bread dip I can't say enough good things about this recipe. I say, add some green to your gyro, too, in the form of spinach or lettuce.
     
  2. Ver good and very easy. I do not love cucumber so I did not think that I would like the sauce but I did.
