Polish Apple Pancakes

"These pancakes have a unique flavor and texture that make them really something special. They have less flour than traditional pancakes so are not so cake-like. They can be eaten on the go without syrup and are very tasty. My whole family loves them."

 1. I'm sorry for the low review but my cakes turned into dense hockey pucks. Added baking powder mid-way and that helped somewhat.

 2. These were very good. I agree with other reviewers that 1 apple sliced very thin would be just right. Thanks for sharing.

 3. what a wonderful weekend breakfast!!!

 4. My mom makes these all the time! It doesnt matter what apples you use but granny smith are usually the best! Powdered sugar is fantastic as a topping! Thanks for sharing!

 5. Yummy and easy to make but like the other reviewers, I only used 2 apples and found it to be more than enough. I'm sure it would be just as good with one large apple.

I live in the Kansas City area and have many hobbies including cooking, reading and spending time with my husband and two children who are very active in sports now. I also have an eBay business which is a fun hobby that makes a little extra money! My interest in cooking focuses on making healthy dishes that are more satisfying than the higher fat and higher sugar versions. If I had a month off with no responsibilities, I would spend it at a luxury spa.
