Platter Cookies
"These are a wonderful, thin, rich, chewy, buttery cookie that my mother used to make."

60 cookies
ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup quick oatmeal
- 1 cup cereal flake (Grape Nut Flakes)
- 1 1⁄2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1⁄8 teaspoon salt
directions
- Blend all ingredients.
- Drop by teaspoons on an ungreased cookie sheet, about 12 to a pan (cookies will spread a lot).
- Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
- Let stand a few minutes before removing.
