Peanut Butter Blondies

"I found this recipe in the October 09' Family Circle. The peanut flavor in this bar cookie is perfect thanks to the cookie and frosting combination. I'm not a huge peanut butter "cookie" fan however I think these are delicious. Give these a shot, you won't be sorry. *Please note these make two 13x9 pans of cookies, including frosting."

Excellent! These taste like a peanut butter cookie with peanut butter frosting. I would also love this frosting on a cake or brownies. Cooking time was a little long as I had to pull these out earlier to avoid burning. I made a half a batch (with 2 eggs). Made these for Father's Day because he can't have chocolate. Will be making these again for picnics, potlucks and parties. Thanks for sharing.

Woweee! I'm not a brownie fan so this is right up my alley. My husband has already been asking for these again. I thought the frosting would be too much, but I was wrong it was so yummy and kept the blondie very mosit till the pan was gone! Thanks, Laura

I'm always on the look out for new tried and true recipes and love to share the recipes that I enjoy making. Growing up as a child my mom taught me how to cook/bake and I later entered food competitions at our local fair. I hope to some day share my love of cooking with my children. I love to cook casseroles..I'm not a huge fan of meat but will toss it in casseroles for my meat and potato husband. :)
