Orange Cream Slush

"The ingredients in this slushy beverage tastes just like orange Creamsicles. If you don't have time to freeze the orange juice, use orange sorbet instead. From TOH Parties, Potlucks and Barbecures. Prep times does not include freezing time."

  1. If you make sure to get a little of this and a little of that in one spoonful you'll no doubt convince yourself that you are indeed having a creamsicle. Made for RS#41.

  2. I just love citrus fruits and don't know how I have missed this in the past!! This is fantastic!! I put the OJ in the freezer at lunch time and two hours later I was ready to dive into this slush, although I only made 1 serving size. This was so refreshing on a 90 degree afternoon and I loved the slushiness of the OJ with the creamy ice cream!! Thanks for sharing a wonderful recipe. Made for PAC Fall 09.

  3. This was very refreshing! It really did taste like a creamsicle. It was perfect on the warm day we were having. I will be making this again. Thanks for the great recipe.

  4. We enjoyed this; really does taste like a creamsicle! DS (5) had his for dessert and slurped it down! Thanks, CraftyLady13!

  5. Very refreshing! I used unsweetened o.j. and sugar free ice cream. It's best when the ice cream has melted into the juice, then it really has the creamesicle taste. I froze just 1 cup of juice to make one serving and it took about an hour with stirring it every 15 mins to get good slush. The whole family will love this.

<p>Update: &nbsp;I have changed my profile picture in honor of my dear best friend and loyal companion that I lost to cancer on 6/25/11. Maxx was the best dog that anyone could ever hope to have in their life. &nbsp;Until we meet again, sweet boy, you will be forever in my heart and memories. I currently live in the country with two dogs (a 12 pound&nbsp;poodle mix&nbsp;named Suki and a new member to the family, a 7-month old(?) 7.5 pound terrier mix named Angel ). &nbsp; I got Angel from the dog pound a week after I lost my beloved Maxx. &nbsp;Suki and I both needed a new companion to help us cope with our loss. &nbsp;Nothing will ever replace Maxx, but she has helped to uplift Suki's spirit.
