ingredients
- 8 ounces egg noodles
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon poppy seed
directions
- Cook noodles in a large pot of boiling salted water until tender but still firm (about 8 min).
- Drain noodles, reserving 1/4 cup of cooking liquid.
- Return noodles to pot.
- You may moisten the noodles with reserved water if desired.
- Toss with remaining ingredients and serve.

SUPER EASY and DELICIOUS. I've made these three times now: first time exactly to the recipe; the second and third times with the addition of minced garlic, thinly sliced mushrooms, rosemary, sage and thyme. A great recipe which I'll be continuing to use a lot. A fantastic side dish and for a super-quick meal, how easy to just add some cold shredded chicken or ham or a can of salmon!
