No Bake Maple Syrup Pie

"Description from the web: Tarte au sirop d'erable - "This classic sweet of old Quebec has a smooth, rich filling, typically shallow and very sweet." I found this hand written recipe in my late MIL's collection. Who knows where it came from; she was Texas born & raised."

  1. Love this pie. It's simple and so delicious. Everyone loves it. I know it's supposed to be shallow but I wanted a little more oomph so I increased all the ingredients by 50%. It came out perfectly, as always. It's delightful warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

  2. We make our own maple syrup so it was fun to try making it into a pie. This was very very sweet, so the kids loved it! It was a little more dense than I was expecting, but it did set up really well and was a sweet change from my usual pies! Thanks!

  3. This was quite yummy! So so sweet though so we could only eat tiny servings at a time. Mine didn't set the best but it was the first pie I've made so I'm pretty pleased.

  4. I’m going to have to watch the sugar with this one…but it was so good!

  5. Great pie! and I am pie-challenged! lol Wonderful flavor!
