Nicky's Choc Chip Cookies

ingredients
- 125 g butter
- 1⁄2 cup sugar
- 1⁄2 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1 3⁄4 cups self-rising flour
- 125 g chocolate chips (i use a mix of white, milk and dark)
directions
- Beat butter and sugar.
- Add vanilla and egg.
- Fold in flour.
- Roll mixture into balls with choc chips in the centre.
- Cook 10 - 12 minutes at 180°C.
- Cool on tray.
- Enjoy.

These were very good. I did not have any problems with them. One reviewer said they were crumbly for them, but they were okay for me. This might be because I packed my brown sugar even though the recipe didn't specify that. I mixed the chocolate chips in, but a few I rolled them in the chips once I made the ball and they looked nicer. These also were not flat like a lot of other cookies. I think that is because this uses self-rising flour which has baking powder in it instead of just plain baking soda. Thanks for a great recipe. I will make these again.
