• 2 (1 ounce) baking chocolate squares
• 1⁄4 cup butter
• 1 1⁄4 cups sugar
• 1 cup canned milk
• 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon vanilla

directions

1. Melt chocolate and butter in double boiler. Add sugar and mix well.
2. Slowly add milk and salt. Cook and stir occasionally until thick. When cooled, add vanilla.
