  1. Another 5 star review!! What can I say? This pie is awesome! One is in the oven now for dessert tomorrow ... should it last so long. ;D

  2. My mother has been making this recipe for years! It is very yummy! She makes them and puts them in the freezer and they thaw beautifully. And are just as good as fresh baked!

  3. A 5 star for sure. I was searching for a chocolate pie recipe that I had ingredients for. Came across this one. Am I glad I made this. As one other lady said I used 1/2 cup butter instead of 1 c. I was low on butter. It turned out sinfully delicious. This is an awesome recipe. It's very rich & fattening but anything that's good-is. A thin slice does it. I suggest everyone make this. I used a 9" pie plate. I make my own crust. I may try a little more butter next time-just to test. I forgot to take a pic before we cut into it.

  4. What a total waste of ingredients. I thought the pie shell looked a bit small, but this was the first time I had used this recipe, so I trusted it. You should update to a deep dish pie shell or state that it makes two in a regular sized 9 inch shell. So now i have a ruined sheet pan and a pie that is seriously overcooked.

  5. This pie is outstanding! I absolutely love it! And it's easy to make. Thank you for such a wonderful recipe!
