Nana Strawberry Smoothie

"I drink 2-3 of these a day. I have become addicited to these. Real easy to make and it is cheaper then going to a Smoothie Shop. Makes a good breakfast, afternoon snack or bedtime snack. It actually came about because I got tired of the amount I had to pay for smoothie. Hope you all enjoy."

  1. Nice fruity drink. Actually, I blended this while the banana and strawberries were still frozen and since there is very little liquid, this was a nice sorbet until it melted a bit LOL. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

  2. I have made this twice. Once with strawberries, once with raspberries, and each time with just one teaspoon of sugar (I don’t have a sweet tooth), and both times with orange juice rather than water. I included the vanilla both times. The second time I added ¼ cup of sunflower seeds. I like to add wheat germ or sunflower seeds or some other seeds (and sometimes both) to my smoothies, just to pack in some extra nutrition. I usually make my smoothies with yoghurt, but this was a nice variation. Really yummy. Thanks for sharing.

  3. This was an ok smoothie. I used a frozen banana and fresh strawberries, plus splenda. Very icey with only mild flavor. Would be especially good on a hot day!

  4. This was the best tasting smoothie I have made in a long time. My kids and I often visit Smoothie King, but now I know how to make them taste just as good at home. I substituted Splenda for the sugar and they tasted great. Thanks for posting.
