  1. These are delightfully delicious and so easy to make. My family requests I make these for every Christmas Eve gathering. I am sorry I didn't comment three years ago when I first made these. I love that you can top these with whatever your family likes. Also, I use Athens prebaked phillo shells so I don't even have to turn on my oven. Thanks JSkizzle, we love these!

I'm originally from Philadelphia but moved to Atlanta in 2003 with my boyfriend. I don't have any children but I do have a very spoiled cat. Thanks to living in the south I now know what great sweet tea tastes like, how to make delicious collared greens, and that fried okra is delicious. I never used to say "y'all" before but now it's become part of my daily vocabulary. I miss real Philly cheesesteaks and hoagies. I love to read (historical fiction is my favorite). I love horror movies. I enjoy watching trashy reality tv shows. Fall is my favorite time of year. Georgia summers are horrible. I like to cook big dinners on weekends and quick easy stuff during the week after work. I have learned a lot about cooking just by being a member here and trying new recipes and I feel like I'm becoming more skilled in the kitchen which is very cool.
