- 3 lbs ground chuck
- 7⁄8 idaho potato
- 1 (8 ounce) bag baby carrots
- 3 celery ribs
- 1 bell pepper
- 1⁄2 cup saltine crackers
- 2 eggs
- 1⁄2 cup margarine
- 1 (4 ounce) packet onion soup mix
- 1 -16 ounce sour cream
- flour
directions
- mix ground chuck , eggs, dice up green peppers ,crush crackers add to mixture, melt margarine in large skillet .{I use a large iron skillet}, make meatballs ,roll in flour brown in margarine until golden brown, remove meatballs add 2 cups water to drippings add potatoes, carrots , put meatballs on top to finish cooking, cook until potatoes are tender remove meatballs potatoes & carrots into large bowl , add onion soup mix cook until thick remove from heat add sour cream pour gravy over meatballs and vvegetables -- enjoy with a hot buttered roll.
