  • In deep saucepan, saute onion in butter til tender.
  • Add potatoes and water.
  • Cover and simmer 10 mins or til potatoes are almost tender.
  • Add remaining ingredients.
  • Reheat, but do NOT boil.

  3. Made this for Think Pink Cancer Awareness tag 2010. Delicious...I followed the recipe as written and served it with some french bread and a small green salad. Will be making this again. (DH did add some hot sauce to his...likes a little kick). Thank you.

  1. This recipe needs a little dry sherry and a pinch of paprika and cayanne.

i live in rural canada. i love to cook, penpalling, hockey,music, and wwe wrestling. also am a avid fishermen as well. my grandmother who was a great cook and baker (she owned and operated a bake shop for years) was my biggest inspiration for me learning to cook and bake.
