  • Grate peel. Mix cream, milk and sugar.
  • Add to peel.
  • Place in bowl in freezer until firm.
  • (about 6 hours).
  • Mash and add juice of lemons.
  • Mix.
  • Cover.
  • Return to freezer until firm.

  1. I made a half more of this recipe and then used the ice cream maker (with a little extra lemon juice) to bring it to the soft serve stage. Then it went into the freezer for a couple of hrs. I got a wonderful, lemony, ice cream that I'll likely be making again before summer if over. *wink*
