I made only the glaze for topping a gluten-free plain yellow cake. Very good! I like that the glaze hardens when it is cool.

I looked and looked for a lemon glaze to go over my lemon pound cake and chose this one because of the butter in it. Most of the ones that I saw was just powdered sugar and lemon juice. I just finished putting the glaze over my cake and the glaze is beautiful and it tastes great.

I made this glaze for yellow cake recipe #108059. It was absolutely scrumptious! I hadn't planned to glaze the cake, but since I had baked it in a bunny-shaped mold I was afraid a buttercream frosting would cover up all the contours. Because of this, my cake was already completely cool by the time I glazed it, and this didn't seem to harm the effects at all. This glaze got so many rave reviews from birthday party guests- I was so glad I had used it. Thanks for the post!

I made the glaze from this recipe and loved it! Mine had a wonderful tart flavor that went well with my pound cake. I'll definitely hang on to this recipe to use in the future. Thanks!
