  1. The secret ingredient that no one will tell you is not garlic. It's liquid ginger. That's the true secret ingredient. Omit garlic and very carefully by drops & taste add liquid ginger. You will go wow! That's why no one can get it exactly on point. I have made it many times. I will have to post the recipe at some point. Everyone is so close though.
     
  2. This recipe is pretty similar to what you'll find in a Japanese restaurant. I omitted the butter completely. To make it even more like the restaurants', I added 1-2 Tbsp of syrup from a can of peaches (trust me on this one!). It turned out great!
     
  3. Oh my goodness...I am hoping that this is like what they serve at those hibachi type places! I love that sauce and the chef just calls is Japanese mayonnaise and won't tell what's in it:LOL: Thank you for posting this...will rate it when I have a chance to try it=)
