DIRECTIONS

  • Heat the butter or fat in a skillet.
  • Cut the bread into cubes and brown in melted butter or fat.
  • Beat eggs and milk together; add salt and pepper.
  • Pour over bread and fry until brown.
  • Serve while hot.
