- 1 loaf French bread
- 1⁄2 lb butter
- 1 1⁄2 tablespoons cajun seasoning
- 4 teaspoons garlic powder
directions
- Preheat oven to 350*.
- Cut bread into bite sized pieces.
- Soften butter to mayonnaise consistency.
- Put bread on a cookie sheet and toast till golden brown.
- In a large bowl, add garlic and seasoning to butter, mix well and set aside.
- Let bread cool completely.
- Coat bread cubes gently in bowel with butter mixture.
- put croutons back on baking sheet and bake another 8-10 minutes. .
- Gently shake the pan to make sure all are browning correctly.
