Boy can I ever rate this bread a 5! Last summer my neighbors, and their parents, and I got to taste this bread made by the chef herself. Everyone at our cookout raved over its fragrance and taste, and it takes some great bread to get my neighbors mother to give out a rave review for she's a bread baker from the word go. So from the 6 of us...that's equal to 60 Stars. LOL! Great recipe and Thank You. Chuck

I had some problems with this bread. First it was way to much salt and second Imay have done somethie wrong but mine made way more than a loaf pan could handle. I cut the salt back to 2 tsp. and it was just about right but I thought the laof pan looked a little full when I put it in the oven and sure enough, a few minutes later my oven looked like an episode form I love Lucy. I scraped off all the over flow off and put it in another pan so all was not a loss. I will say while it was baking the house smelled wonderful and the bread that was left in the pan was good. I will try again and use 2 pans.
