  • Brown beef and onion, drain off fat.
  • Stir in water and all other ingredients and mix well.
  • Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer uncovered 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally until macaroni is tender.

  1. I really loved this recipe. I doubled the macaroni and swapped the water for chicken stock, using 4 cups since I doubled the pasta. Sadly my husband wasn’t a fan because I forgot he doesn’t really like the flavor of Heinz 57. So, if you enjoy Heinz 57 try this recipe!

  3. Made for Spring PAC 2008. This was good and easy to make. I followed the recipe as written other then I used only half of the salt mentioned and used Splenda instead of sugar as that is all I buy. This was easy to make on a weeknight and everyone enjoyed it.

  5. This was really good! The only things I did differently were to add 3/4 package of light cream cheese and use ground turkey. I also left out the salt and pepper. I like the flavor the 57 sauce added. Thanks for the recipe!
