Grilled Marinated Mushrooms With No Salt

"Entered for safe-keeping. This is a no-salt appetizer from Donald Gazzaniga's "The No-Salt, Lowest-Sodium Cookbook". No Salt and Very Low Sodium recipes really do help heart patients get their blood pressure and fluid build-up under control. But food can still taste good. If using the barbecue or a broiler, use the cooling rack for the grill or skewers to keep the mushrooms form "falling through.""

This was a simple and great marinade with all the ingredients on hand already. Threw these on the grill on skewers while my marinated tofu cooked. Very good!

I think it was our first time trying mushrooms on the barbecue. It was great. We both loved them. I only omitted the coriander and pepper. I let the mushrooms marinate at room temperature for 1 hour. So yummy! Thanks Kate :)

These came out delicious and I followed this to a T halving the servings as it's just me and DH. Indeed, it doesn't need salt with the spices used here. Everything blended well with the taste of mushrooms. Thanks for sharing this, baby! Made for PAC Fall 2008.

I love to eat yummy healthy foods!
