Green Bean Medley

- 3 -4 carrots, cut into matchsticks
- 8 -10 mushrooms, sliced
- 8 -10 ounces fresh green beans
- 1 large onion, sliced lengthwise
- 1 -2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 1⁄2 tablespoons basil
- 3 tablespoons parmesan cheese
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
directions
- Cut carrots into 2 1/2 to 3 " fairly thick matchsticks and cut green beans in half.
- Steam beans and carrots until tender, approximately 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile saute the onion and mushrooms in large frying pan until onion is translucent and mushrooms are tender, about 10 minutes.
- Combine carrots and beans with saute'd mushrooms and onions.
- Shut off heat under frying pan and add basil and parmesan cheese.
- Blend together and serve warm.
