What a delectable recipe!! Followed your directions but I only had a cup of sour cream. (Since it was storming and I didn't want to drive all the way into town...)Sooo.. used 4 oz of neufchatel cheese with 1/2 c. of water and added this mixture to the sour cream. Worked like a charm. (Hope you don't mind a little French cheese in a German recipe...=) I like the idea of being able to serve this at room temp. as well when entertaining. Used a whole wheat pizza crust which really worked well with the caraway seeds, we thought. This onion pie was sooo tasty. This recipe is a keeper and I will be making again...YUM! Thanks for posting, andypandy
