Faroe Island - Coffee With Cardamom Cream

So glad that I tried this incredible tasting treat. The spiced whipped cream is out of this world. If you don't like coffee try it with dark hot chocolate you won't be sorry."

• Ingredients: 7
• Serves: 4

ingredients

• 1 1⁄2 quarts boiling water
• 1⁄2 cup ground coffee
• 1 cup heavy cream
• 1⁄2 teaspoon ground cardamom
• 1⁄4 teaspoon ground mace
• 1 1⁄2 tablespoons sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

directions

1. Brew coffee according to brewing preference.
2. Combine remaining ingredients in a chilled mixing bowl.
3. Using chilled beaters, beat with electric mixer to soft peaks. Serve whipped cream over coffee.

I love cardamom, so I knew this would be right up my alley! I actually did the same as Sharon123 and brewed the spices with the coffee, and then topped it with canned whipped cream. Still delicious, and a great idea! Thanks for sharing.

Another wonderful coffee BK :D. Oh my gosh it's good! I don't know if I would actually bother whipping the cream next time as it melted into the hot fresh coffee pretty much instantly. Not a bad thing as it flavored the coffee divinely, just kind of made the whipping an unnecessary step. I just adore your coffees my friend. Keep them coming and I'll keep making them. :D

Really good coffee! Give me anything with cardamom and mace and its almost automatically five stars! Loved the flavors, and of course, whipped cream. Need I say more?
