  1. Fabulous cookies. They really do melt in your mouth. I based just for 15 minutes and am glad I didn't bake them longer as they came out slightly moist when still hot, but perfectly crumbly when cool. I cut the recipe down to 1/3...and made 15 cookie (plus ate enough batter to probably make another 3-4 cookies).

  2. I really wasn't sure how to rate this...with that said...this is a touch of Heaven in your mouth...that's why the 5 stars...now I'm not a cookie lover...I made these for the hubby and I had all the ingredients...the recipe was very easy to put together...just remember to add the oil later...it took my cookies 30 minutes cooking at 300 degrees before they were starting to creak...I'm still not really sure they came out the way they were suppose to...but they sure were tasty...they never got really brown...and the bottoms were just turning golden when I took them out of the oven...I was able to get 24 cookies from the recipe...I cooked half while the other half hung out in the frig ready to hit the heat...I made this "For your consideration" tag game...=)

  4. Are these ever a delicious treat! Love, love their buttery goodness and you know that I will bookmark these for my Christmas tray this year. Mine flattened and not sure if they are supposed to or not, but no fear they are so good no matter what shape. Thank you, BK, for sharing your family favorite.
