Easy No-Knead Bread

  • Mix all the dry ingredients in a large bowl. Add the water.
  • Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan. Cover the dough with a tea towel and let rise for an hour.
  • Bake in a 400F oven for about 45 minutes.

    I can not knead bread and have it turn out right so was anxious to give this recipe a try. It is very good bread and I had no trouble making it at all. Next time I will have to make two loaves as one didnt stick around very long. Thank you TattooedMama for posting! Made and reviewed for Pick A Chef Spring 2009.

    This is a wonderful and very easy recipe. I make it all the time, never buy<br/>bread anymore. It is wonderful toasted or for a sandwich. Even tho it does<br/>not rise much on top I can't believe how easy and quick it is.<br/>You can add nuts or craisons also.<br/>I spray a piece of saran wrap to put over top of bread when rising, otherwise the towel<br/>sticks.
