  1. I had a friend in college that used to make this but I never got the recipe. I am really glad to see it here. This is so yummy. I made it for dinner as a salad/dessert. Easy enough that my kids could help. Delicious. Thanks Kim :)
  2. I used apple pie filling as I couldn't find the peach. I also added in 1/2 tsp. cinnamon just because I like it, and it was delicious. I served with some fresh whipped cream on top. My DIL asked for the recipe, and I was almost embarrassed to tell it to her, it's so easy to make!
  3. I almost gave up on this recipe as I couldn't find the peach pie filling, then much to my surprise one store I rarely shop in had it. This is quick easy and very good. I added some fresh grapes.
  4. Really simple and easy and colorful. Put in an elegant crystal dish and served w/Thanksgiving Dinner. A keeper. Thanks, TJ
  5. This is so delicious and easy to make. We had a little backyard BBQ and this was the perfect accompaniment for our grilled menu. Fruity and sweet, just as expected. Thanks Kim.

I'm a Marine Corps wife and mother of two children with skin and three with fur. I consider myself a "southern cook", but I love to try new stuff, too. I'm also a registered nurse and my specialty is Neonatal ICU. We are currently stationed near Washington, DC and we really, really could not hate it more. We are not big city people. We prefer the quiet mountains of Vermont, where my husband is from. I am into my own spirituality, and love to study religions of different kinds.
