Good. While the flavor of these is good, I found that the centers came out a bit too doughy, even a bit raw in spots, despite cooking them the full length of time, and a few minutes longer. Despite a large amount of flour, the dough was still quite sticky and a bit tricky to roll out. I wasn't sure what type of pan to use to bake these on, so I used a lightly greased cookie sheet. For the frosting, I melted the butter first to make it easier to mix. I did use less butter, as the recipe poster suggested. The frosting is somewhat tangy & sweet and really quite tasty. These looked beautiful when finished - and if the instructions were a bit clearer, I would give these a 4 for taste.

I live in Northwest Washington. I am a mom of 2 boys, ages 15 and 17. I am 30 something, and my Hubby and I have been married over 18 years. All through high school I worked in a gourmet restaurant. In 4 years I worked my way up from dishy/prep cook to line cook, and even head baker and dessert cook while I was there. I learned many wonderful and useful skills while at that job. I have always enjoyed cooking and baking, but my love for cooking and baking really took off from there. I spent 3 years as a Pampered Chef Consultant to learn great recipes and stock my kitchen.
