Dreamy Cherry Delight Cake

  • 1 (18 ounce) package white cake mix or (18 ounce) package yellow cake mix
  • 3 eggs (or as called for by your cake mix)
  • 13 cup oil (or as called for by your cake mix)
  • 1 13 cups water (or as called for by your cake mix)
  • 1 (4 ounce) box instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 (20 ounce) can cherry pie filling
  • 1 (8 ounce) container Cool Whip, thawed

  • Prepare and bake cake according to pkg.
  • directions, using 9x13 inches.
  • pan.
  • Meanwhile, prepare pudding according to pkg.
  • directions.
  • When cake is done, remove from oven and poke several large holes in cake (I use the end of a wooden spoon).
  • Spread pudding on top.
  • Let cool completely.
  • Spread cherry pie filling evenly over top of pudding.
  • Spread cool whip over top of pie filling.
  • Refrigerate until serving.

I am a single gal, living on my own; currently working as an Occupational Therapist & living in Cumberland, MD. (It is "God's Country" out here...beautiful!) I LOVE to cook and bake, and love anything that looks, tastes, smells, or even closely resembles a veggie. I LOVE moo-cows, and therefore, cannot bring myself to eat any part of the adorable critters (i.e. NO RED MEAT!!) I love the outdoors, and pride myself on being the master griller on the fire pit. My mother's side of the family is 100% Polish, so I have an inborn passion for cooking...unfortunately, along with that comes a love of eating, too!! But, hey..u only live once, so I say "EAT, DRINK, and BE MERRY!!!"
