Double Dill Dip

My girls friend had made this, I loved it. Nice garlic/dill taste. Great with the CHEESE THINS that I will post as well. But great with assorted fresh vegetables;strips of carrot, green, red or yellow peppers, celery, cauliflower and broccoli florets, mushrooms.

I was looking for a dill dip for a party we hosting to go with the veggies. Where I grew up you served dill dip with veggies but the area we moved to typically supplies a ranch veggie dip. Since I didn't have any mayo I was looking for something without it and decided upon this recipe. It went over at the party very well. I will be making it again! EDIT: If you want a more US style recipe its: 2 C sour cream, 4 oz cream cheese, 2 t parsley flakes, 1/2 t garlic powder, 2 t onion flake, 1 t onion salt, 1 t lemon juice, 2 t dill weed. TWEAK: I personally don't use the parsley, increase the garlic powder to 1 t, instead of onion salt I use 1 t onion powder then add perhaps 1/8 t salt (which I use to help grind the dill weed in a mortar and pestle before adding).Reply
