ingredients
- 1⁄4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine, softened
- 1⁄4 cup white sugar
- 1⁄4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1⁄2 cup flour
- 1 1⁄2 cups chocolate chips
directions
- Cream sugars and butter in bowl on medium speed.
- Add water and vanilla.
- Gradually add flour.
- Stir in chips.
- If using for cheesecake drop teaspoons in filling and gently push dough below surface.
- If eating as is enjoy!

VERY soft and VERY sweet. I was making it to eat as-is, so I made half a batch, underfilled my sugar measurements, added about a Tablespoon of flour, and added 1/4 teaspoon of salt because I like my dough a little salty. Very delicious!******* After several remakes, I've decided that this is a DANGEROUSLY addictive recipe! I cut back a tad on the sugar, add more salt, and chill for a few minutes in the feezer. DIVINE! Recently, I've given up granulated sugars and artificials. I needed cookie dough fast so instead of sugar, I used just under 1/4 cup honey, half of the vanilla, added 1/4 cup oats, 1 tsp salt, and chopped up sugar-free chocolates instead of adding chocolate chips. SO GOOD!
