Date With a Melon Smoothie

  • In a container, combine dates & boiling water, then set aside for 15 minutes before covering & chilling in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
  • When chilled, drain the dates, then in a blender, combine the dates & all the other ingredients, processing until smooth.
  • Pour into 2 tall glasses & ENJOY!

  1. I wasn't to sure about this recipe. Even as I made it I couldn't imagine how the flavors would come together. However, the end result was quite pleasant. I can only imagine that this would be even better in the summer with a cantaloupe form my own garden. Thanks!
