  2. made this for national date & nut bread day! I'm not crazy about dates but my mom loves them & she said the bread was delicious!!

  3. Made this just for ourselves since I always enjoy the taste of dates & molasses, especially this time of year! Definitely a keeper of a recipe, & I'll be making several more loaves before the end of the year to gift to a couple of friends who will love it as well! Thanks for posting this great recipe! 4. Very yummy! Nice, dense bread recipe. We took another reviewers suggestion of cream cheese and made little sandwiches, and wrapped them in plastic wrap. We gave half to the neighbors and look forward to snacking on the rest. Thanks for sharing the recipe. :)

  5. This made a very nice bread - dense and flavorful. I liked the rich flavor of the molasses (treacle) and of course the dates and walnuts were great together. This was good toasted with butter, and also with cream cheese - thanks for posting the recipe!
