• 1⁄4 cup sugar
• 2⁄3 cup ginger beer
• 1⁄4 cup butter, at room temperature
• 2 tablespoons dark rum or 2 teaspoons rum flavoring
• 1 egg, at room temperature
• 2 teaspoons mccormick ground roasted ginger
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1⁄4 teaspoon salt

• Frosting

• 1 cup sugar
• 1⁄4 cup dark rum
• 2 egg whites
• 3 inches knob ginger, sliced
• 1 pinch salt

i made this cupcake and really i liked its taste and I already like beer and rum and ginger .but I didnt make its frosting I usually dont make extra cream over cupcakes.but even without this,it was a wonderfull beer rum cupcakes.i felt a strong beer taste and i will add cacao another time when i try to make it
