  1. Easy & awesome! Not adding stars, because I started to make this and discovered that we were out of curry powder. I subbed greek seasoning instead so it gave this a totally different flavor and was no longer "curried". However, it was very good this way. Used day old ciabatta bread, sliced in long pieces. Very yummy with soup.

  2. These are delicious! They are super easy to make and a real crowd pleaser. Thanks for the great recipe!

  3. This was delicious! I loved the flavor combinations and wouldn't change a thing. I got greedy and piled too much of the mixture onto my bread, therefore I had to move it further away from the broiler to get it to heat all the way through. I will definately keep this in mind for quick appetizers or a easy lunch. Thanks.

  4. These toasts disappeared in a huryy - I used whole wheat baguettes. You do have to watch them - I timed it just right. I like the way the mixture swells on the toasts - I used chopped olives instead of sliced Thanks Barefoot Beachcomber These could become a regular in my house. I had a bit of the mixture left over so I added some garlic and put it on a whole wheat bagel (bagel cut in half throught the middle) - wonderful

I don't think I'm a great cook but I'm the kind of cook who can walk into the kitchen and find good things in the fridge and pantry and make it into a meal that everyone thinks is pretty darn good. Sometimes I use a recipe and sometimes...not so much. I have a great collection of cookbooks, and I love reading them and studying the pictures. Sometimes I even cook the recipes, LOL! And that is why I love Zaar, an unending source of recipes and pictures.
