I just got a new crockpot (my old one finally died) and wanted to make something different to break it in. This turned out very well. I used bone-in chicken breasts. I cooked on low for 6 hours and that seemed to be just right. I didn't have any pimento so just left it off. We enjoyed the tender chicken and veggies in that scrumptious cheese sauce over noodles. 5-stars all the way. Thanks RecipeNut :D

I made this tonight for my mom. She thought it was delicious. I thought it was pretty good, but needed more zip. Didn't have Canadian bacon, so substituted regular bacon that I browned and drained before adding to the crock pot. The sauce was kind of thin, so I browned some flour and made it into a gravy.

Great flavor. took me about 1/2 hour before work and 10 hours later we were eating. My crockpot has a feauture that cuts it off to warm when the setting time is complete. 8 hours low then to warm. I used a can of cream corn instead of the cheddar cheese soup, I added the flour to it, I will double the flour next time. I used 2 whole cornish game hens. It turned out great. I served this as the main dish, not over noodles, we had rice as a side. With all of the delicious vegetables, the seasonings really made it great. I took it out of the crock pot into a 9x13 spinkled with parmesan cheese. It's saved to my cookbook. Thanks!
