I love making this. Only difference, is that I add a little milk to the soup (about 1/2 cup) to thin it out a little. I also add some pepper and garlic powder to it while cooking. And I DEFINITELY add the peas - they make the dish. It's good on toast, or on rice. Yum. -
First time I followd the recipe. It was terrific. Second time I wanted to add a little muscle, and it was terriricER! Added fatfree sour cream, red chili flakes, a glug of marsalla, capers, garlic powder. Wowsers! Try it.
