ingredients
- 1 cup powdered cocoa mix
- 1⁄3 cup instant coffee granules
- 4 cups boiling water
- whipped cream
directions
- Combine cocoa mix, instant coffee and boiling water; stir until coffee granules dissolve.
- Garnish each serving with whipped cream.
- Yield: 1 quart.

I cut the amount of ingredients by 2/3 when making this for my other half since I'm not usually for that much coffee in anything I eat or drink! I had just a regular cup of hot cocoa & we both enjoyed dunking homemade biscotti! [Tagged, made & reviewed in my theme Cocoa +1! in the current Comfort Cafe] -
Yummy chocolate coffee drink! I reduced this to make one cup as I was the only one drinking it. Since it is officially summer and the 4th of July to boot, I think this drink is fine for any time of the year. Made for Summer 2009 Comfort Cafe. -
made for Comfort Cafe 2009. I agree with Chef, this is great for a morning coffee drink especially on these bitter cold days. I reduced this to 2 cups for moi. Added hazelnut creamer to it , my personal fave, and subtracted the whipped cream (from 1 cup). Will save this to make for those mornings I need an extra pick up or those evenings I get to laze about with a good book. -

The little cutie here is Martha, the sweet lady I was blessed to have worked with for two years. Martha passed away on 12/3/08. Martha and I would ride endlessly during the holidays, and she would sing carols and laugh and just enjoy it so much. I know this holiday season, she will be with her brother, son and mother and finally be "home". Martha, I still love you more.

I'm a simple girl, born of good stock. I'm the mamma of two spoiled tuxedo cats: Beauregard and Patches (the one who's been drinking eggnog). They love cuddling together, and this picture is taken on my hall steps.
I'm a firm believer in LOA. I need to get more dedicated to daily practice. Below is a film that explains it, and is wonderful. I highly recommend it.
