"chunky Bar" Cookies

ingredients
- 1 (18 ounce) box devil's food cake mix
- 2 large eggs
- 1⁄4 cup margarine (stick not tub)
- 1⁄4 cup butter, at room temperature
- 1⁄4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1⁄2 cup chocolate chips
- 1⁄2 cup dried dates, chopped
- 1⁄2 cup raisins
- 1⁄2 cup walnuts, chopped
directions
- Stir with a wooden spoon until well combined: dry cake mix, eggs, margarine, butter and brown sugar.
- Stir in remaining ingredients.
- Drop from level tablespoons onto greased cookie sheets.
- Bake at 350F 11 minutes or until cookies puff.
- Cool on pan 2 minutes.
- Remove to wire rack to cool completely.
