- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1⁄2 cup milk
- 10 marshmallows
- 1⁄2 cup butter
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
directions
- In heavy saucepan, bring marshmallows, milk and sugar to boil over medium heat. Continue to boil for 6 minutes.
- Remove pan from heat and stir in butter, vanilla and chocolate chips. Stir till smooth and pour into buttered 8 inch square pan.
- Cool thoroughly and cut into squares.
- Add 1/2 to 1 cup nuts, if desired, after butter and chips are melted.
