  • Stir the soup, mayo and lemon juice together.
  • Layer in a small casserole dish:1/2 chicken, ½ cheese, 1/2 broccoli, 1/2 sauce.
  • Repeat Bake 45 minutes at 350F.

    This one is a keeper! I used frozen chicken breasts and they were rock solid when I started. After boiling for 25 minutes, they were at a temp just above 200 degrees. So I would check the breasts after 15 minutes with a meat thermometer, and then every few minutes thereafter so you don't overcook the chicken. I added fresh ground black pepper to the sauce. I used a round dish about 4 inches deep and 6 inches in diameter and it was perfect. It doesn't say what to do with the chicken exactly, so I decided to shred it into bite size pieces with two forks. On the top, I added a layer of Pepperidge Farm seasoned stuffing mix and sprayed it generously with cooking spray (melted butter tastes best but I was trying to keep the fat down). I baked it uncovered. All of my changes/additions worked out really well. Thanks for the tasty, easy recipe, Aroostook!

    I loved the idea of the recipe - however, the msg in canned soups turns me off. I substituted organic chicken broth and added arrow root (thickener) and some sauteed shitake's in butter - turned out wonderfully!

    I thought this was a great recipe. Easy to make, but it seemed a little dry. I doubled the sauce and that made it better in my taste. Overall great dish.
