  1. Made this as given & then used it as a spread over thick slices of a nutty, whole grain bread, that were then sliced into 6 strips each, serving them up as appetizers! Really a big hit with my guests, & this recipe is definitely a great keeper! Thanks for sharing it! [Made & reviewed in I Recommend recipe tag]

  2. Oh yum, this is such a great dip for veggies and crackers! I loved the addition of chopped carrot to the cream cheese, yum! I used the broth I could get at my local organic store and that added great flavour! I think this would also be good with some curry powder and onion powder in place of the broth.<br/>THANK YOU SO MUCH for sharing this dip with us, SReiff! Made on recommendation of weekend cooker May 2011.

  3. Had all the ingredients on hand along with some Ritz crackers, and this made for a nice dip. All the ingredients except for the George Washington seasoning, which I did find at a speciality cooking and spice dip and chip store we have here at the mall. Different tasting dip but enjoyed . Made for a nice snack for us after dinner tonight, with a great flavor. Made this as a tag in Healthy ABC tag.

I am a Registered Nurse part-time and a full-time mother of two beautiful daughters. My husband I celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary this year. Being with my family is a great joy to me and cooking for them is a pleasure! I love to try new foods and I am fortunate that so does everyone else in the family (well, except the 5 year old who is "picky" - but at least occasionally starting to try new foods!). RecipeZaar helps me explore new food and has given me many yummy "repeat" recipes that have become "standard" in our home. Thanks to everyone who posts, reviews and shares tips on this website. Thanks, too, to those who maintain RecipeZaar's website - all your hard work and attention to detail are what set this site way above any other recipe site. It is great to have a "world wide cookbook" at my fingertips!!
