ingredients
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1⁄2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups buttermilk, at room temperature
- 1⁄2 cup molasses
- 1 cup dark raisin
directions
- Combine all ingredients and mix well.
- Spoon into a well-greased and lightly floured 8x4 inch loaf tin.
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Set bread aside for 30 minutes.
- Bake 45 minutes, or until done.
- Cool, and remove from tin, cooling completely.
